NBCI’s courses are now available online!

These independent study modules allow you to learn new information in the comfort of your own home. Modules are derived from the lectures & materials presented in class. CERPs are available for each course.

Each module includes a power point presentation along with relevant journal articles and documents, and assignment questions available for download. Please read the notes at the bottom of the slides for explanations. Completed assignment questions, evaluation forms and payment forms must be sent to the Newman Breastfeeding Clinic & Institute 1255 Sheppard Ave E. Toronto, ON M2K 1E2. You will receive a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the module. The pass rate for each module is 70% and you will have two opportunities to reach a score of 70%. NBCI is a long-term provider with the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners for Continuing Education Recognition Points (CERPs). Modules are available in L (lactation), E (ethics) and R (related) CERPs
